Introducing Sawyer: Our New Membership Platform

Why are we changing how we keep track of memberships?

Sawyer allows us to track our memberships much more easily, and allows you to view your membership at any time! Ever been confused about when your membership expires? Ever been unsure how to renew? Those days are over!

We’re also going to be using Sawyer for class registration, which means that all of your SCAL transactions will happen in the same place!

How to get set up:

If you have a current membership with us, we’ll need your help in moving it over to Sawyer. Don’t worry, it’s very simple!

Step 1: Go to our membership page and scroll down until you see the membership options. Select whichever membership type you currently have and click “Learn More”

Step 2: Click the button that says “Register” - don’t worry, this email contains a coupon code that will make it free!

Step 3: You will be prompted to make a Sawyer account. You will only have to do this once and then never again. Enter your email as choose a password.

Step 4: Click “Register” again and then “Add to Cart.” You will be redirected to your cart

Step 5: In the “Promo Code” Section, type in currentmember and click “Apply”. This will change to price of your membership to $0. This will only work if you have a current membership with us.

Step 6: Once the price of your membership has changed to $0, click “Checkout”

Step 7: You will be redirected to a form where you can enter your name, phone number, and address (optional). When you’re finished, click “Next.”

Step 8: Finally, click “Place order,” and you’re all set! Now when you sign up for classes, which we’ll also be running through Sawyer, you’ll be able to get your member discount!

PLEASE NOTE: When you first place your order, your expiration date will be set as a year from today. SCAL personnel will edit this on our end to reflect the expiration date of your current membership, so you can expect that to be updated within a week.
